Tyler Beebe
Ballast & Grade Manager
Coast Guard Veteran
Tyler has been at Loram for 11 years. He started as an Engineer and moved to International Sales and now is a manager for our Ballast & Grade Field Operations.
“There are so many different aspects to Loram, it made it a really attractive company to apply for after my military service. With Loram, I’ve now been to more than 20 countries in just a span of three years and have really gotten to see the world and develop that leadership that in the military translates so well to Loram.”
Marcus Frost
Assembly Technician
Army Veteran
Marcus works in the Loram Technologies mechanical shop in Georgetown, Texas – that’s about 30 miles north of Austin. He’s a jack of all trades and is currently on a
project to rebuild automated components that lubricate railroad tracks, which reduces wear and increases efficiency for our customers.
“Loram is a good company, I’ve had a lot of experience in different aspects I was able to work in and the different opportunities you have, it’s a good place to work. I’m not just saying that – I’ve been here for almost 10 years now so that’s proof in itself.”
Steve Jackson
Value Stream Leader
Army Veteran
Steve works on one of the assembly lines (we call it a “Value Stream”) at our Global Headquarters in Hamel, MN. He oversees several parts of the process to ensure consistency and is there when different teams need guidance.
“We’re a big enough company so you never have to worry about work and we supply the world, so there’s a lot of opportunity to travel, see the equipment work in different parts of the world, you can look up and say I made that or had something to do with that and it’s a sense of pride. There’s a lot of places that veterans can fit in here.”
Browning Briggs
Supply Chain Manager
Coast Guard Veteran
Browning is heading up our team that supplies our warehouse and field teams for Loram Technologies, based in Georgetown, Texas. Part of his assignment is overseeing a
project to combine five warehouses and manufacturing facilities into a new building which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
“I came from a $19 billion a year company and was just another number. The railroads are a niche industry and here I can make a difference and have my voice heard. I can walk into my President’s office and say we have an issue and I need help – that makes a huge difference. I came here to find a home and Loram is where I can make the most impact.”
Michael Goette
Regional Sales Manager
Army Veteran
Mike has been at Loram for nearly two years, starting as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for Field Operations in our Human Resources department. He took those people
skills to a new spot at the company where he’ll be on the Regional Sales team, working directly with our railroad customers.
“It’s great to see if you come into a company and have the right drive, personality, you do the right things and have the right background, growth is there. If you want to move into sales or another part, Loram does take care of its employees they try to promote from within as much as we can.”
