Job Title HR Graduate | Location Derby
Salary Listing: £30,000
The HR Graduate is a 2-year fixed term contract in Loram UK’s HR function, with the intention of acquiring relevant experience and knowledge whilst contributing to the day-to-day functioning of the department.

Operating within a close-knit team, you will assume responsibility for supporting the HR team. The role will primarily cover, HR administration and systems support, and will enable practical development in core HR functions as well as specialist areas.
The objective of the training period will be to provide the Graduate with a broad solid foundation in Human Resource Management and will be expected to manage/support with a key HR project. Specific training will be provided by Loram through selected courses which are applicable to the role and deemed necessary to achieve the objectives of the training period.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the end-to-end HR administration process for the whole employee lifecycle such as recruitment, starters, leavers, OH, reward and benefits, and global mobility.
- Understand and support to ensure that all appropriate learning and development provisions are in place and carry out any associated tasks.
- Understand and support the reporting framework by running reports, conducting data analytics and presenting theories, ideas and solutions as and when required.
- Support on organisational change including TUPE, Employee Relations and consultations such as coordinating meetings, taking and distributing minutes and agendas.
- Ensure that all HR systems are accurately populated, supporting the implementation of any new ideas to ensure that we get the most out of the systems available.
The Key Requirements…
- GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree. Preference for a HR, business, financial or law related degree, but other disciplines would be considered depending on skills and experience
