GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
We are looking for an Engineer III, AI/ML to drive innovation of our AI/ML initiatives. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI-driven solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor junior engineers, optimize data pipelines, and ensure best practices in AI/ML development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Strategic and Functional
- AI/ML Development & Deployment
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, or other AI-driven applications.
- Develop and maintain scalable AI/ML solutions, integrating them into production systems.
- Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and tuning.
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML model training and deployment.
- Implement MLOps best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
- Optimize model performance in terms of accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Data Science & Analytics
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive business decisions.
- Develop statistical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a track record of deploying machine learning models in production.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Scala, and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks) and data pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and CI/CD workflows for AI/ML applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills..
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with generative AI models, transformers, or LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face).
- Familiarity with edge AI and IoT-driven machine learning solutions.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or research publications.
