GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive data-informed decisions
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Work with functional leaders global to identify key improvement insights; Drive action plans through functional leaders with standard reporting and cadences.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to monitor key supply chain metrics.
- Automate data collection and reporting processes using Power BI and other tools.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to streamline processes.
- Support the data analytics to forecast demand and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives by analyzing supplier performance and cost data.
- Assist in the implementation of supply chain software and tools.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management using visual storytelling techniques in Power BI.
- Versatile in supporting ad hoc reporting and analytics as business needs develop.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a supply chain, logistics, data analysis role, business process management or related experience. Experience working cross functionally with other business functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling and dashboard creation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Continuous process improvement methodologies and/or demonstrated ability to improve processes
- Expertise in all Microsoft applications, ERP systems, IT-tools supporting the source to pay process
- Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal
7+ Year’s combination of experience and education in business administration, supply chain, process management, procurement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Manufacturing Industry Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Being able to work with different departments and prepare, support, and drive change of processes
- Experience in developing meaningful presentations and presenting to all levels of the organization
- Expertise in IFS (ERP system)
- Business certifications (APICS, PMP, CPM, etc)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
