GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for supporting the Inventory Control Specialist in creating and maintaining accurate inventory logs or products and materials received from various locations. This position will provide administrative assistance regarding the processing, reporting, and tracking product/inventory. This will also include organizing the warehouse, tracking inventory, assist with setting up a new tracking system, and maintaining our current inventory tracking system.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in a shared shop environment.
- Assist with organizing inventory in areas that create an efficient workflow.
- Take photos of all inventory to enter into our current ERP system.
- Assist with updating our current inventory tracking system. Document all current and new inventory/product
- Operate handheld computer (bar code scanners)
- Package products for shipment. Process UPS and FedEx parcel shipments
Materials Workflow
- Receive and pick shop orders. Pick and Pack customer orders
- Receive and unload incoming materials. Load outgoing (LTL) freight shipments
- Put Received Parts Away. Transfer material
- Ship Supplier Material
- Pick Project Pick lists
- Perform Bin Audits/Stock Checks
Collaboration
- Coordinate efforts across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
Safety Focus
- Work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 0+ years working with an ERP system and MS Office Suite. 0-1+ years Retail or manufacturing warehouse experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Pass all required background, drug and alcohol tests and maintain applicable warehouse process and equipment safety training refresher courses.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external customers
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to proactively multitask and is highly motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence others from different functional areas at all levels within and outside the organization.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

- 10% travel including international, using any method of transportation.
