GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the HR Information Systems environment, with a primary focus on Dayforce HCM and the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS). This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee data, manages the interface between Dayforce and Cornerstone, and provides technical and functional support to end-users. Key responsibilities include data maintenance and auditing, reporting and analytics, system testing, end-user training, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure efficient and effective system operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operational Excellence
- Perform HR data entry, data standardization, and maintenance in Dayforce (e.g., hires, terminations, benefits, position changes).
- Administer and maintain learning assignments, course setup, and compliance tracking in Cornerstone LMS.
- Monitor and manage the Dayforce and Cornerstone interface, ensuring timely and accurate data flow between systems; troubleshoot integration issues as needed.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, collaborating with Payroll, HR, and Learning & Development to resolve discrepancies.
- Participates in cross-training across HRIS platforms to build team-wide system knowledge and coverage.
Technical and Functional Skills
- Develops, runs, and maintains standard reports and supports advanced reporting needs in collaboration with HR and other team members
- Support system configuration, testing, and deployment of new features, patches, and releases.
- Log, track, and resolve HRIS-related issues through coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Document processes, workflows, and configuration details to support knowledge transfer and system governance.
Customer Support
- Provide system support for Dayforce and Cornerstone, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Deliver end-user training and create job aids for common tasks (e.g., entering job changes, assigning courses).
- Partner with IT, Payroll, HR, and Learning & Development to improve data accuracy, streamline workflows, and drive process improvements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in HRIS or LMS administration, with system configuration, reporting, and data governance.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams and intermediate-to-advanced Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service focus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail; proven ability to manage confidential data with discretion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Licenses/Certifications: Project Management Certification
- Experience:
- 5+ years of HRIS or LMS administration experience.
- Experience managing system integrations/interfaces between HR platforms.
- Experience with Dayforce HCM and/or Cornerstone LMS systems.
