GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry). Inspections of building and equipment; waste management; cross training in other roles as backup as needed; serves in rotation of on-call personnel in emergent situations; the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ensure that the facility is up to code and maintained in such a manner for all employees and guests of Loram.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Employee Engagement
- Be available for all company functions to set up, tear, down, clean up and pick up and deliver goods and rental equipment.
- Backup to the Sr. Facilities Assistant duties during emergencies and when away from the facility.
- Knowledge about how the organization works and how to get things done through formal and informal channels.
Safety and Operational Excellence
- Knowledge of conditions that affect self and/or others safety under normal conditions and conditions that occur in crisis situations; identifying conditions that might cause hazards and takes action to resolve the situation.
- Uphold safety standards.
- Ensure facilities is maintained and in repair to provide a safe work environment.

- Effectively meet customer’s needs.
- Build productive customer relations.
- Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Communications and Interpersonal Skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Experience: 2+ Years related experience and/or training.
Licenses/Certifications: DOT certification, valid driver’s license.
Preferred: HVAC experience and Boilers license
*2+years equivalent combination of education and experience.
