Senior HRIS Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for conducting Human Resource (HR) analysis (compensation, benefits, staffing, etc.) and maintaining and managing the Company’s HR information system (HRIS) in addition to other applications supported by the HRIS team in an effort to drive key HR corporate processes related but not limited to:employee engagement, performance management, personnel data and information. This position serves as a technical point of contact for HR technology areas and assists the information technology experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of business impact as a result of system changes, report writing and analyzing workflows for process improvement opportunities.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

Systems and Processes

  • Analyze needs to determine, develop and document new or revised internal business requirements, guidelines, procedures, and processes and train new system users.Train stakeholders in how to run routine, canned reports.
  • Recommend process improvements to stakeholders and configure applicable modules of Dayforce, Cornerstone and Sharepoint, per business requirements (performance reviews, goal setting, pay policies, benefit plans, automated work flows, training compliance reporting, and internal communications).
  • Assist with system support, including research and troubleshooting HR related process workflows and issues, and inaccuracies.As the HR technology expert, recommend and implement solutions or alternate methods to meet HR requirements.
  • Perform regular data integrity, payroll and benefits checks (status, classifications, accruals errors, etc.), identify root causes, and correct records as needed.
  • Partner with Information Technology and Finance to manage internal feeds into data warehouse.
  • Partner with payroll during payroll weeks as top priority, to conduct various checks and audits to ensure data flows correctly to employee paychecks and internal and external reports.
  • Maintain awareness of current HRIS trends with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.

Project Management

  • Assist with and manage key system events through configurations, test, implementation, communications and user training (examples:401k plan changes; annual benefits enrollment, compensation processes, reviews, goal setting and training compliance reporting).
  • Participate in routine information systems vendors meetings and prioritize projects according to business needs.
  • Assist in the closure of Dayforce help desk tickets for configurations and repairs as they relate to HR functional areas.
  • Proactively prepare for and assist with software updates, as the designated User Acceptance Test lead for Human Resources.Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate upgrades and fixes and communicate impact and process changes to appropriate user audiences.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Review and conduct complex analysis for HR functional areas to include, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and staffing.
  • Write, maintain, and support human capital decision reports, to drive key process improvements.Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Partner with Finance on developing work flows to feed enterprise-wide KPI real time data feeds.
